“Connecting occupants to smart buildings to improve well-being, space management, and energy efficiency”—that is the mission of Distech Controls, a leading player in the smart building sector.
Enless Wireless has entered into a partnership with Distech Controls at the start of 2022 to distribute Enless’s range of LoRa(WAN) sensors for use in building comfort and energy performance monitoring applications.
Among the flagship applications, monitoring indoor comfort and air quality—driven by current circumstances — has emerged as the top customer priority, involving the measurement of CO₂ levels, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), temperature, and humidity.

Enless Wireless’s entire range of LoRa(WAN) sensors has been listed by Distech Controls on its online catalog.
What types of interfaces are available?
Controllers from Distech Controls’ Eclypse range can easily interface with Enless Wireless LoRa receivers in two different ways:
- A simple RJ45 cable connecting the Enless receiver to an ECLYPSE controller
or
- The Enless receiver and an ECLYPSE controller on a switch or router
The data transmitted by the Enless sensors is then read via Distech Controls’ graphical programming interface (EC-gfxProgram).

The Power of BACnet

Enless’s recent move into the BACnet protocol with the launch of its new LoRa BACnet receiver has been a real catalyst for synergies between the two companies, as Yves Garnier, Field Device Program Manager for Europe at Distech Controls, explains:
“The Enless Wireless BACnet® LoRa receiver is easy to use and highly efficient. Integrating wireless sensors with our ECLYPSE™ controllers is a breeze thanks to the power of BACnet® discovery!”
The partnership between the two companies, which began a few months earlier, was based on the technical contributions made by the Distech Controls teams to the development of the Enless Wireless BACnet LoRa receiver during the pre-launch testing phase.
What about the outlook?
Since Distech Controls added Enless Wireless’s LoRa(WAN) solutions to its product portfolio, the first projects have been identified that involve monitoring CO2 and temperature levels in indoor environments.
Distech Controls is currently positioning its Enless solutions in the French market as well as across Europe, where there is strong momentum in indoor air quality applications.
