Starting in January 2020, Kirby, a leading Australian company in the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors, will begin distributing Enless Wireless wireless temperature monitoring equipment on behalf of HLP Controls, Enless’s official Australian distributor since 2019.

About Kirby:

Kirby is one of Australia’s largest wholesalers of OEM refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and HVAC&R products, with more than 60 sales outlets across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The company distributes the widest range of equipment and components in its market to support the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. It supplies Kirby OEM refrigeration equipment that can be customized to meet its customers’ specific needs and project requirements. Kirby also distributes Lennox and Kirby HVAC equipment, Gas2go refrigerant, and a wide range of leading brands of parts, tools, and consumables. The company has a national network of account managers and field engineers to support its customers’ operations.

Kirby has been in business since 1924, when James N. Kirby first started the company. The company is now part of the global Beijer Ref , which specializes in air conditioning and refrigeration.

The partnership between HLP Controls and Kirby involves distributing Enless Wireless IoT temperature measurement solutions primarily through online channels and establishing an in-house inventory managed by a select group of specialized branches.

For its part, and to support its partner in this initiative, HLP Controls will launch a marketing campaign by providing the relevant Kirby branches with display boards showcasing the available temperature monitoring solutions. These promotional materials will ensure visibility for Enless Wireless products and increase their exposure among Kirby’s customers.

“This nationwide presence, made possible by the network of Kirby branches, now allows usto reach a broader market where Enless Wireless’s product line is essential, explains Len Wallace, Chief Technical Officer at HLP Controls.

“Enless products are quite unique in that they are standalone units with batteries that can last more than 5 years and up to 15 years. They transmit their data to the Sigfox network, where it is then analyzed and monitored in real time through alarm and reporting systems. Transmitters equipped with temperature and humidity sensors are ideal for the HVAC and refrigeration industry in Australia.”

Each Kirby branch will receive training on the Enless Wireless product line and will be supported by local representatives from HLP Controls in each region.
