In early October, Enless Wireless joined the LoRa Alliance, whose mission is to support and promote the global adoption of the LoRaWAN® standard by ensuring the interoperability of all LoRaWAN® products and technologies, thereby enabling the Internet of Things to deliver a sustainable future.
Founded in 2015, the LoRa Alliance is currently the fastest-growing technology alliance. To date, the alliance has more than 500 members and over 120 LoRaWAN operators across 140 countries worldwide.
The LoRaWAN network is based on an open, low-data-rate, long-range technology that ensures sensor compatibility and interoperability.
Enless Wireless is pleased to join the LoRa Alliance ahead of the launch of its new product line in order to better meet the needs of its export markets. In 2018, the LoRa Alliance network grew by more than 60%.
“We are pleased to welcome Enless Wireless as a new member of the LoRa Alliance,”said Donna Moore, CEO and President of the LoRa Alliance. “ We look forward to seeing more IoT radio manufacturers adopt LoRaWAN and expand the LoRa Alliance’s membership base.”
Enless Wireless plans to launch its new LoRa product line in the first half of 2020. Like its established Sigfox and 169 MHz Wireless M-Bus lines, this new range will include products designed for remote meter reading applications for electricity, water, gas, and energy meters, as well as for automated temperature measurement and the monitoring of comfort data: CO2, VOCs, humidity, etc.
The upcoming Lora product line will include new features, such as a dual-probe temperature transmitter designed specifically to simplify measurements in domestic hot water systems, a ruggedized version of the temperature and humidity transmitter, and a VOC particle transmitter.
The products will include simplified installation software to speed up setup.
