New LoRaWAN Gateway: Power and Openness at the Service of BMS

A new milestone for Enless

For years, Enless has been supporting system integrators in their building management system (BMS) projects with reliable, user-friendly, and high-performance wireless products.

With the launch of our new LoRaWAN gateway, available starting in the third week of April 2026, we are taking a major step forward: offering a solution that is more powerful, more open, and just as easy to integrate as ever.

Why use a LoRaWAN gateway?

Our receivers LoRa Easy have proven themselves and are widely used by our integrators:

  • Quick installation
  • Simple setup
  • Cost-effective solution
  • Up to 50 Enless sensors supported
  • Conversion of received data into a Modbus table or BACnet objects

But the market is changing. Some of our system integrator customers have made their needs clear: they want greater flexibility and more radio capacity for larger-scale projects, without being locked into a proprietary system. That’s exactly what we’re delivering with this new gateway.

Fully compatible with multi-brand sensors

Unlike the proprietary LoRa Easy receivers, the new Enless LoRaWAN gateway is open, interoperable, and compatible with sensors from various manufacturers. Good news for existing Enless hardware users: all Enless sensors are natively recognized and decoded by the LoRaWAN gateway, and their data is directly converted into a Modbus table. By using Enless sensors with the gateway, you retain the Plug & Play simplicity that is Enless’s strength.

Third-party sensors can be integrated by developing codecs and a mapping that stores the decoded data in the Modbus table. Enless provides a library of sensors that have already been decoded and mapped to simplify your deployment of sensors from other brands.

10 times more radio capacity

The wireless capacity has been significantly increased compared to LoRa Easy receivers. In fact, the Enless gateway can support up to 500 sensors ( LoRa Easy receivers LoRa Easy support a maximum of 50). This increased capacity makes it suitable for projects involving a large number of sensors (e.g., thermostatic valves).

Modbus today, BACnet tomorrow

In Version 1, the LoRaWAN gateway will be available in Modbus only. The BACnet version is scheduled to be available in July 2026. A firmware update will be available to enable BACnet compatibility.

A gateway designed for the field

The design of this LoRaWAN gateway has been tailored to meet the on-site requirements of BMS integrators BMS

  • Integrated DIN rail mounting ( )
  • Plug-in terminal blocks for quick wiring
  • 12–24 V AC/DC
  • PoE
  • Terminating resistor

A simple configuration server

We've retained the ease of setup that users appreciate in LoRa Easy mode.

  • a modernized interface (UX/UI)
  • a seamless user experience
  • Setup in just a few steps
