LoRaWAN Thermostatic Valve

LoRaWAN Thermostatic Valve

Take control of your radiators

Thermostatic valve

Your instructions are orders

Take action with our LoRaWAN thermostatic valve. Designed for use with your hydronic radiators, it strictly adheres to the heating setpoints defined by your BMS. The LoRaWAN protocol not only allows you to monitor the room temperature but, more importantly, to receive your control commands remotely. Reduce your buildings’ energy bills and improve occupant comfort with the Enless thermostatic valve.

LoRaWAN - Class A

Thanks to the LoRaWAN protocol, the valve offers exceptional radio performance, with a range of over 5 kilometers in open terrain. Operating in LoRaWAN Class A, it can receive new commands (such as a setpoint update or an instruction regarding the motor’s opening percentage) immediately after each data transmission, ensuring efficient control.

Extended battery life

Supplied with three 1.5V AA (Li/FeS2) batteries, the Enless LoRaWAN thermostatic valve guarantees a battery life of up to 5 years, depending on your usage patterns. Replacing the batteries is very simple and does not require removing the valve from the radiator.

High-performance motor

The valve incorporates a high-precision stepper motor, ensuring micrometer-level piston positioning. This precise flow control guarantees linear and responsive temperature regulation, eliminating any sudden temperature fluctuations.

Control options

The BMS commands the valve opening percentage

In this control mode, the BMS takes control of the valve by sending commands to dictate its opening percentage. All control logic is thus centralized within the BMS, transforming the thermostatic head into a simple actuator. It is then up to the system integrator to configure this logic by defining the various operating scenarios.
This approach allows each radiator to be coordinated with other equipment to optimize the building’s overall energy performance.

The BMS sends a setpoint temperature to the valve, which uses its control algorithm to maintain it

In this operating mode, the BMS transmits the desired room setpoint temperature to the valve. The valve then uses its own algorithm to control the temperature. The thermostatic head continuously compares this received setpoint with the ambient temperature it measures, automatically adjusting its opening independently. This approach reduces the burden of setting up control scenarios while ensuring excellent responsiveness to local temperature fluctuations.

Effortless installation

Opening

Access the battery compartment by removing the valve cap.

Mounting

Easily install the valve on the faucet by tightening the ring.

Calibration

Start the engine calibration by pressing the temperature selector

Enhanced mechanics

1. Monoblock

To ensure exceptional durability, the Enless thermostatic valve features a one-piece design. By eliminating the traditional rear plate assembly—which is often a source of weakness—it offers optimal long-term mechanical strength.

2. Clamping ring

Equipped with a sturdy aluminum clamping ring, the valve ensures a secure fit on the radiator. It remains firmly in place over the years, with no play or risk of loosening, thus guaranteeing consistently precise temperature control.

3. Vandal-resistant housing

For exposed environments, a vandal-resistant polycarbonate cover is available as an accessory. It fully encloses and protects the thermostatic valve against impacts, theft, and any attempts at malicious damage.
