Remote Meter Reading

Turn your meters into smart meters with Enless sensors

Why use LoRa sensors?

No wiring

Cut down on cable costs and installation time. Install your sensors on your meters in a flash, no matter where you are.

Long radio range

The radio signal can travel several kilometers, even through walls and floors.

Battery power

Enjoy a service life of up to 15 years, with minimal maintenance required.

Accurate counting

The sensors periodically read your meter readings and transmit the data via radio.

Track energy usage using radio sensors

LoRaWAN sensors connect to meters to collect consumption data and transmit it wirelessly over long distances. This remote meter reading system eliminates the need for manual readings, ensures accurate billing, enables immediate detection of leaks, and thereby reduces operational costs.

Sensors for pulse counters

LoRa pulse sensors connect directly to your existing pulse meters (water, gas, electricity, or heat). Their function is to accurately count the number of pulses emitted by the meter, with each pulse corresponding to a defined unit of consumption. The sensor then transmits the number of pulses measured via LoRa radio.

Meters that can be equipped

  • Water meters
  • Electricity meters
  • Gas meters
  • Any type of meter equipped with a dry contact or open-collector interface

Sensor for electric meters

Enless offers sensors equipped with an optical reader for electric meters. These sensors count the number of LED flashes emitted (excluding infrared). Since each flash corresponds to a specific value, the sensor directly calculates your total energy consumption.

Quick installation

Simply attach the optical sensor to the LED on your existing meter. No electrical connections or major modifications are required to turn a standard meter into a smart meter.

Complete control

By converting every power spike into actionable data in real time, you can immediately identify unusual fluctuations or power surges. You can take action before excessive energy consumption starts to strain your budget.

Modbus Transmitter for Energy Meters

By connecting directly to the Modbus interface of energy meters equipped with a Modbus card, Enless Modbus master transmitters read the slave’s registers and transmit the data via LoRa radio. This approach eliminates the need for wiring and simplifies integration into existing buildings.

Features

  • Reading from or writing to Modbus slave registers
  • Management of up to 60 registers
  • Can manage up to 10 slaves
  • Sending data via LoRa Easy radio LoRa Easy an LoRa Easy Modbus receiver
  • Can be used with any type of Modbus slave
