With this measurement variable, it is possible to determine the speed at which electrons circulate in an electrical circuit. To measure the intensity, the electrician uses an ammeter.
It is evaluated in Watts (W) and applies to current and voltage. To better explain the measurement variable of power, it is necessary to use the water jet as a basis. The power of a water jet applies to the compression and flow of water.
Generally measured in Kilowatt hours, energy is the power that is used over a period of time. With energy, we estimate the population’s electricity consumption.
The electrical resistance
Here is measured, the ability of a material to resist the circulation of electricity. Within an electrical circuit, the electrical resistance is used to transform electrical energy into another form of energy. The multimeter is used to measure the resistance of the electrical current and its unit of measurement is the ohm (Ω).
With regard to alternating current, frequency corresponds to the number of round trips that electricity makes when it flows through conductors. Its unit of measurement is expressed in Hertz (Hz).
The electric field
The electric field is the force that attracts or removes other electric charges. This variable corresponds to the force emitted around it by a material while electricity is not flowing and it is under voltage. Its unit of measurement is the volt per meter (V/m).

To read the measurement on the analog multimeter, you must rely on the arrangement of the hands on the dial. While on the digital multimeter, the values are read on the digital display.
It is used to measure the intensity of the current flowing through the various electrical conductors. Its use is simple, with a pinch on the conductor, it is easy to determine the intensity of the electrical current. There are two types of current clamps: rigid jaw clamps and flexible jaw clamps. With flexible jaw pliers, the measurement is made specifically on alternating current. And for rigid jaw pliers, the measurement is made on alternating and direct current.
It is a device used to measure the electrical intensity within an electrical circuit. There are several types of ammeters, namely the digital ammeter and the analog ammeter. The analog ammeter evaluates the average value of the current flowing in an electrical circuit. The digital ammeter estimates in volt the voltage realized during a Shunt (it is the resistance of the current).
