1. Access the server
The sensors and receiver are configured using a configuration server built into the receiver. Designed with system integrators in mind, its interface has been simplified to the utmost to save you valuable time when configuring the products. Pairing your Enless sensors with your BACnet receiver is thus a lightning-fast and completely intuitive process.
2. Pair your sensors
Pairing the receiver with your Enless sensors is a quick two-step process: simply enter the sensor IDs on the embedded server, then power them on. As soon as the sensors are powered on, communication between the devices is established instantly. From the server, you can then verify in real time that data is being received correctly and immediately check the quality of the radio link using the signal level display.
3. Connect to your BMS
Once the configuration and pairing steps are complete, the deployment is nearly finished. All that remains is to connect the receiver to your controller or Building Management System (BMS). Once this physical connection is established, your system is operational: your controller can discover the BACnet receiver to retrieve and utilize all the data.
4. Start the discovery process
Once the receiver is connected to the BMS, you can immediately start the BACnet discovery process. This gives you a clear overview of the network, and you can choose to operate the receiver using two distinct discovery modes:
- Device Mode: In this configuration, the sensors paired with the receiver appear individually as full-fledged BACnet devices on the network.
- Object Mode: With this approach, all BACnet objects from the sensors that may be present in the receiver are displayed during the discovery process.
