Designed specifically for remote meter reading, this LoRaWAN sensor attaches to the LED display on your electricity meters. Since each LED flash corresponds to a specific consumption value, you can easily determine the consumption recorded by your meters.
Radio power

Record-breaking battery life
The Enless LoRaWAN LED flash sensor is built to last. It comes with a replaceable D-cell battery and can operate for over 15 years. Battery life depends on your settings (transmission frequency) and your environment. Using a D-cell battery ensures reliable data transmission over the long term while drastically reducing maintenance requirements and the need for physical intervention on the device.
Optical reading
The optical reader head included with the sensor attaches to the meter’s LED interface using an adhesive strip (included). This probe counts the number of LED flashes generated by the meter. For every 5 flashes counted, the sensor will register a pulse. The sensor periodically transmits the count of pulses via radio. A non-intrusive solution for remote meter reading of your electric meters (e.g., Linky…).
Multiple uses
Communication over a public or private LoRaWAN network
In LoRaWAN mode, the LED flash sensor can transmit its data over a public or private LoRaWAN network. Enless offers a LoRaWAN gateway that is compatible not only with its own sensors but also with third-party sensors. Data from Enless sensors is natively decoded and mapped to Modbus tables or BACnet objects for simplified integration into your BMS.
Enless sensors are also compatible with commercially available LoRaWAN gateways and with operated LoRaWAN networks.
Communication with an LoRa Easy receiver
In LoRa Easy mode, the LED flash sensor sends its data to an LoRa Easy receiver. LoRa Easy receivers LoRa Easy available in Modbus, BACnet, and HTTP versions. They can receive data from up to 50 Enless sensors (Enless only). The data is then natively decoded and converted into a Modbus table, BACnet objects, or sent as JSON to an HTTP server.
