At the start of this year, Enless Wireless joined the Wize Alliance, an international association dedicated to promoting the Wize LPWAN ( Low-Power Wide-Area Network) standard for the Internet of Things. The organization brings together leading international players from the industrial and public utility sectors.
Wize technology already connects more than 8 million IoT devices worldwide via the 169 MHz frequency.
Wize technology is already in widespread use in the water, gas, waste, and building management sectors. To date, the technology has been used primarily for smart metering, and the Alliance is particularly interested in developing Internet of Things use cases that offer innovative solutions to the challenges posed by urban, suburban, and rural environments.
It is in this context that Enless will soon be participating alongside SUEZ Smart Solutions Limited and Bordeaux Métropole Énergies in the call for projects led by the Allianceaimed at stimulating and developing new use cases for Wize technology. The selected projects will receive €100,000 in development funding!
