Our receivers are designed to collect data from Enless sensors for processing by a Building Management System (BMS).
Our Modbus or BACnet receivers convert Enless sensor data frames into Modbus tables or BACnet objects, making them available to a controller. Our HTTP receiver enables Enless sensor data to be pushed to an HTTP server.
The transmitter data is sent to the LoRaWAN operator’s cloud. Each transmitter must be provisioned with a subscription from the operator to be able to send its data to the cloud. The sensor information can then be processed by IoT platforms that retrieve the raw values from the cloud and format them accordingly.
The sensors’ data is sent to a LoRaWAN gateway (e.g., Kerlink, Multitech, Cloudgate, Wattsense… or others). The LoRaWAN gateway centralizes the sensor data and provides the information on a server or a BMS. In general, LoRaWAN gateways do not decode sensors’ payload so this job has to be done by the system integrator. Please note: Enless Wireless does not market LoRaWAN gateways.
The Enless sensors communicate via radio with an Enless receiver (Modbus or BACnet). A receiver can manage up to 50 Enless sensors. The radio distance in open field between a sensor and a receiver is approximately 4km. The receiver is then connected to the controller / Building Management System (BMS) and provides data from the Enless sensors. This mode of operation allows any system integrator an extremely simple transfer of Enless sensor data to a BMS.
