Evolution of our Modbus LoRa receiver – addition of Modbus IP function

In a context of product evolution and adapting to the needs of our customers, we have recently updated our LoRa range Modbus receiver. As stated in the title of this article, we have focused our development towards a protocol that is now a reference in terms of industrial and automation applications for buildings: the IP protocol.

As well as adding a Modbus IP interface alongside the Modbus RTU (RS232/RS485) interface already integrated in the receiver, our technical teams have been working on the development of other functionalities:

  • Addition of a function for exporting a .CSV file of the sensor configuration
  • The option of configuring the sensors from a .csv file
  • Revised .csv export format for the Modbus table

The initial tests carried out by various customers confirmed that this new receiver is exactly what was required by our various integrators, installers and distributors.

Our new Modbus receiver stands out thanks to its huge operational flexibility, whilst retaining the same characteristics as its previous version:

  • Configuration from an IP server
  • It can manage up to 40 transmitters
  • 7.5V to 24V power supply
  • Table register Read / Write function

This new receiver will be available as of mid-July.

The Modbus IP receiver can only be used in Enless LoRa proprietorial private mode (see diagram below):
